October Hess is a Business Development Manager for Tarvos Talent, LLC. In this role, she specializes in building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and partnering with companies to understand their hiring needs while connecting them with top talent.

Prior to joining Tarvos Talent, October spent more than 18 years in recruiting, staffing, and talent acquisition, primarily within the healthcare and workforce solutions industries. Throughout her career, she has led national recruiting teams, managed full-cycle recruitment, supported business development efforts, and worked closely with clients to solve complex hiring challenges. She has also helped improve recruiting operations through process improvement, technology adoption, and data-driven hiring strategies. Most recently, October served as Director of Recruitment and Workforce Technology, where she led recruiting strategy, supported remote and offshore teams, and remained an active producer in a full-desk recruiting capacity.

October grew up between Mandeville, Louisiana, and Frisco in North Texas, and recently moved to the Austin area with her husband and their two pups, Jaci and Pico. She has two daughters: Abby, a senior at Texas Tech, and Bella, a recent Texas State University graduate who has just started her Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.

Outside of work, October enjoys traveling, reading, discovering new music, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys supporting causes close to her heart, including philanthropic efforts benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Jaci and Pico love to travel too and are often part of the family adventures.
