Core Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical drawings and site layouts for commercial solar installations using AutoCAD.
• Apply NEC requirements, utility standards, and commercial construction practices throughout the design process.
• Evaluate existing electrical systems to support upgrades, equipment replacements, and capacity expansions.
• Deliver accurate construction-ready plan sets that help reduce field issues and minimize the need for revisions.

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering and design experience specifically within the commercial and industrial solar industry.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills with the ability to independently produce complex electrical drawings and layouts.
• Strong practical knowledge of the NEC, commercial electrical construction, and utility interconnection requirements.
• Proven problem-solving ability, attention to detail, professionalism, initiative, and accountability.
