Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly close cycle, managing timelines and ensuring accurate, timely reporting
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, including those related to insurance and tax activities
  • Collaborate with external tax providers and manage key deliverables
  • Support the creation and enhancement of accounting procedures and documentation
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects, system implementations, and ad-hoc initiatives

Requirements:

  • CPA designation or actively working toward certification
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting
  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance accounting is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Oracle are highly valued
