Tarvos Talent is partnering with a client to identify a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing accounting team in Northwest Houston. Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of external financial reports and filings in accordance with SEC requirements and GAAP.
• Partner with internal teams to gather and validate information for financial reporting and disclosures.
• Support internal controls, documentation, and audit activities related to financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other corporate accounting activities as part of the monthly close.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting for a public company.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills; exposure to financial reporting or consolidation tools is a plus.
