Simon Lopes is a Direct Hire Recruiting Associate at Tarvos Talent, LLC, where he connects outstanding companies with talented individuals. With over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, and workforce transformation, Simon has worked in both agency and in-house recruiting environments. His leadership roles have included positions at global organizations such as IBM, high-growth startups, and expanding technology companies.

Throughout his career, Simon has earned a reputation for helping organizations scale efficiently, modernizing recruiting operations, and enhancing the overall hiring experience. He has led talent acquisition and operations teams and collaborated closely with executives and hiring leaders to address complex hiring challenges. At IBM, Simon headed the Global Talent Acquisition Technology Optimization Office, which supported recruiting operations across nine geographies and over 70 countries. In this role, he collaborated with recruiting leaders, hiring teams, and business stakeholders to attract and hire top talent.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Simon graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he was a member of the Men’s Soccer Team. He and his wife, Julia, have two beautiful children and enjoy traveling and staying active. An avid Boston sports fan, Simon also finds joy in landscaping.
