Tarvos Talent is seeking an experienced Sales & Use Tax Accountant for a  contract opportunity in Downtown Austin. This hybrid role offers the chance to support a collaborative corporate tax team, take ownership of key compliance activities, and contribute during a critical period for a large, established organization.

As the Sales & Use Tax Accountant, you’ll support the corporate tax compliance process by preparing estimated tax payments, filing returns, developing schedules for consolidated Form 1120 filings, and assisting with monthly close and tax provisions. You’ll work closely with tax leadership to manage priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and provide additional support throughout an ongoing audit.

The ideal candidate will bring strong corporate tax compliance experience, including hands-on knowledge of Form 1120 filings, tax provisions, and audit support. A working understanding of sales and use tax, strong accountability, and the ability to independently manage responsibilities are essential, while experience with SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, or related data management tools is highly preferred.
