Cash Applications Specialist

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing organization in North Austin to identify a Cash Applications Specialist for their collaborative accounting team. This in-office role offers long-term stability, strong leadership, and the opportunity to join a company experiencing exciting expansion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and staying organized in a high-volume environment.

As the Cash Applications Specialist, you’ll support daily cash posting, account reconciliation, and customer payment research while partnering closely with internal teams and clients. You’ll help ensure accurate and timely application of payments, assist with resolving discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements as the organization continues to grow through acquisition activity.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of cash applications or accounts receivable experience along with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. They should be comfortable handling both phone and email communication, working collaboratively across teams, and asking questions when needed. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office is required, while exposure to ERP systems such as Great Plains or NetSuite is a plus.
