Tarvos Talent is seeking a hands-on Controller for a dynamic real estate investment firm in Austin, TX. Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities across a complex portfolio of properties and entities.
• Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Partner with third-party management companies while coordinating accounting and financial information.
• Support external audits, tax preparation, capital activity, and equity-related reporting.

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years of accounting experience; experience in real estate, private equity, or multi-entity environments is highly valued.
• Big 4 experience and CPA credentials are strongly preferred, with a solid foundation in technical and operational accounting.
• Exposure to private equity, capital structures, waterfalls, and equity reporting is highly valued.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or comparable accounting platforms; curious, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
