Tarvos Talent is partnering with a client to search for an AP Lead/Manager for their growing accounting team in the South Houston area. Core Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounts payable operations while helping streamline workflows and improve efficiencies.
• Support and mentor AP team members, creating structure, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
• Partner with leadership on process enhancements, reporting initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Assist with vendor management, reconciliations, and resolving complex payment-related issues.
• Contribute to cash management activities, forecasting support, and other accounting projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including experience overseeing high-volume AP functions.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Strong systems knowledge with ERP experience; exposure to Sage Intacct or similar platforms is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a process-improvement mindset.
• Professional communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
