Sales & Use Tax Accountant

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a client to search for a Sales & Use Tax Accountant for a contract opportunity in Austin, TX. This hybrid role was created to support an upcoming federal tax audit and offers the opportunity to join the tax team of a global industry leader.

As the Sales & Use Tax Accountant, you’ll manage monthly sales and use tax filings, reconciliations, and vendor coordination while supporting compliance and audit-related processes. You’ll work closely with tax leadership in a high-volume environment that requires strong accuracy and organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong sales and use tax experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a background in account reconciliations and compliance support. Experience with SAP, Snowflake, Ultrix, Data Management tools, or PowerBI is highly preferred, and candidates should be comfortable working independently while managing multiple deadlines.
